Where Impact Meets Intention.
At Antwan-Christopher L.L.C., our work doesn’t stop at strategy—it extends into streets, classrooms, villages, and hearts. Community isn’t a buzzword for us. It’s where our mission began. And it’s where our mission lives.

Rooted in Asheville. Reaching the World.
When Christopher—known in the arts world as Melvin AC Howell—moved to Asheville from Morganton, NC in 2019, he came with one intention: to listen deeply, understand the needs of the community, and respond with purpose. What he found was a generation of underserved Black youth—many living in public housing, surrounded by instability, violence, and silence.
With a heart for transformation, Christopher partnered with LEAF Global Arts Organization to create accessible arts programming rooted in visibility, empowerment, and hope. From performing arts and dance to filmmaking, acting, fine art, and emotional intelligence—he gave young people tools for expression and a platform to be seen, heard, and valued.
These weren’t just classes. They were declarations: You are more than what you were born into.

Global Work. Universal Language.
That same commitment to healing through art has taken Christopher from villages in Guatemala to cultural spaces across the globe.
In Guatemala, he joined a mission to build homes equipped with handicap ramps and plumbing—essentials that were once considered luxuries. While there, he led spontaneous dance workshops for local children. Though they didn’t share a common language, the moment the music began, the barriers disappeared.
That’s the power of art.
It unites what division tries to separate.
It doesn’t ask where you’re from. It simply says: You belong.

Whether in Asheville or abroad, our community impact is guided by one belief:
Art is a catalyst—for dignity, for healing, for change.
And we will continue showing up, with open hearts and clear vision, until every creative child, artist, and institution knows the full value of their voice.
